We always strive to make your poker experience at Pokerist Texas Poker as pleasurable as possible. Of course, just like in any game there are certain guidelines and features. On one hand, they make the game more interesting but, on the other, can cause some difficulties.
And even though our application’s interface is absolutely intuitive, we’re constantly improving our FAQ, where you can find all the explanations to the situations confusing to you.
Questions added during the last FAQ update:
Why can’t I exit the multi screen mode and go to one of the four screens?
Most likely your multi screen mode is locked. In order to unlock it, click on the “lock” icon in the middle of the screen. Likewise, you can lock back the multi screen mode. This function is available for iPad and flesh-version.
How can I remove chat templates?
To fold the templates menu in the chat, click on the header of the active tab and it will move to the left. Likewise, you can unfold the templates menu.
When the templates menu is folded, it become easier to read the conversation as chat interface widens.
Why can’t I choose a table based on blinds? What do the table levels (easy-medium-hard) mean?
The table selection based on the level of difficulty (easy-medium-hard) is available to the players who registered after the update of Pokerist Texas Poker (26.04.2012). The level of blinds, in this case, is determined by the amount of chips in your account (bankroll).
What does the gold star next to the player’s name mean?
The gold star next to your opponents name means that you have this player on your friend list.
Why do I get “kicked out” of the table or I can’t join it?
You might get “kicked out ” of the table because of unstable Internet connection. Before you enter a tournament game, make sure you have a secure Internet connection.
What are the device requirements for playing the latest version of the game?
For the flash-version (when playing on the website or social network websites, for example) you must have Adobe Flash Player installed on your device.
If you play on iOS, then the software no lower than 4.3 should be installed on your device (if you’re playing on an iPhone — starting from 3Gs).
Can I delete my account?
You can’t delete your account, however, you can create a new one. Note that you can only play from 4 different accounts (including the guest one) from one device.
What can I do if I don’t like my gift?
If you don’t like the gift your opponent has sent you, or the one that you bought yourself, you can always replace it. To get a new present: click on the current gift (that replaced “Glass” icon) and then select a new one. It will now be displayed next to your avatar. Like wise, you can change gifts displayed next to opponents’ avatars. Also, note that the gifts will disappear when, for example, you exit the application. Exceptions are VIP gifts.
How can I delete friends?
To remove somebody from friends, click on “Friends” in the main menu. Select the friend you want to delete and click on “Remove”.
How can I delete private messages?
At this point, you cannot delete your private massages. One of the available solutions is to remove the player from your friends. This will automatically delete the whole conversation. You can then resend a friend request, if necessary.
We are currently working on a new version of the game, where it is easier to delete messages. It will include buttons, such as “Copy” and “Delete”, that will appear once you click on a massage. Thus, you will be able to delete all the massages as well as specific ones leaving the rest of the conversation untouched.
