WSOP Update: Your "October" Nine

July 17, 2012 Jordan Greene Poker World

With Day 7 in the books, the Main Event has reached the final table, and we have our November Nine, and other than one player from Hungary, this year, unlike last (where seven nations were represented), is a decidedly American affair.

Leading the pack with almost $49 million in chips is American Jesse Sylva. Sylva has a commanding lead, with the next chip leader, Hungarian Andras Koroknai, with under $30 million. The rest of the November Nine are Americans Greg Merson (~$29 million), Russell Thomas (~$25 million), Steven Gee (~$17 million), Michael Esposito (~$16 million), Robert Salaburu (~$15 million), Jacob Balsiger (~$13 million), and Jeremy Ausmus (~$10 million).

Play resumes from October 28 through October 30, 2012.
