Are you interested in some of the behind the scenes shenanigans that take place in the high stakes Hollywood underground poker games? Well if so, I have some good news. According to reports, Molly Bloom, one of the individuals who ran the high stakes games, has signed a deal to write a memoir, expected to be released in the summer of 2014 with published It Books, a division of Harper Collins.
Ms. Bloom, who is sister to two-time Olympic skier and Philadelphia Eagles player Jeremy Bloom, reportedly hosted her games at posh locations, including the Beverly Hills Hotel, the Four Seasons and the Viper Room. Her guests/players included A-list stars Tobey Maguire, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Her poker operation allegedly earned tens of millions of dollars during its run from 2006 through 2009.
I, for one, am looking forward to some insider stories. Something tells me that actors are likely big bluffers.
