Little League coach Justin Doyle was reportedly sentenced to two years probation, which includes house arrest, for his involvement in the illegal poker game. Despite the charges against him, the community stood beside Doyle, with several prominent community members writing to the Court to support Doyle for his community involvement, including his relief efforts following Hurricane Sandy.
Doyle is the fourth of the twelve arrested to reach a plea agreement. Thus far, all have received probation without jail time. Eight more defendants are up for sentencing, including ringleader Joseph Fumando.
